- How do you motivate your team members? I do small things to make staff feel appreciated each day, even if its just little snacks staff love it!
- As a people-leader, how do you lead by example? I will never ask anyone to do something I wouldn’t do myself. I go on the trucks when needed, I do COVID calls, I comply with CVOR. If staff are expected to perform a task, I too am expected to do the same thing
What is the different between managing and leading? To me leading is teaching and guiding people. Showing them what’s expected by doing the task myself and not just demanding it. Managing to me is maintaining to make sure those expectations you have set out are met.
