How long have you worked at Voyago? 7 years Â
- What in your life has brought or given you the greatest satisfaction or fulfillment? Looking back, what would you have done differently? What would you do again? So far, fostering kittens has given me the biggest sense of fulfillment in my personal life, I’ve rescued and fostered several litters of kittens, and a couple adult cats. I love being able to save animals who have no voice of their own and provide a safe space for them to grow up and thrive, and I’ve always had an affinity for animals, so it was the most logical first step for me. I would have loved to have gone into wild animal rehabbing or fostering on a larger scale, but the requirements and regulations for that makes it difficult to break into without a lot of resources to begin with, however when I have more space to do so, I definitely plan on continuing to foster when I can.
- What in your life has brought or given you the greatest satisfaction or fulfillment? Looking back, what would you have done differently? What would you do again? I find fulfilment in knowing that I’m able to improve the lives of people and animals around me for the better, and fostering animals is one of the ways in which I can do that in my life.
- What are you most passionate about right now? I’m passionate about sustainable living, I enjoy finding ways to make less of an impact on the planet and give back when I can. Things like reducing plastic in my daily life by buying locally, in bulk, or at refillery stores, growing and making my own food when possible, and using reusable, and sustainable alternatives for daily use items whenever I can. It’s my dream to someday purchase a plot of land and build a sustainable farmstead using renewable power and have enough space to produce more of my own food myself using sustainable farming methods.
